Our prison ministry revolves around helping men and women rebuild their lives on the foundation of Gods word. But what happens when they are released from prison? Where can they go when they have no where to go? They need food, They need shelter, They need support.
How can we assist them and aid them with their growth? These men and women leaving prison are our brothers and sisters in Christ! We cannot just forget about them! Our goal is to encourage them to continue their walk with Christ and to help them get established in the community. We will continue to add reputable agencies into our data base to assist them. Former prisoners can and are building productive and satisfying new lives that honor God!
But they need our help. There are a lot of difficulties that ex-prisoners must overcome as they begin to live new, Christ-centered lives in the community. This ministry is committed to assisting them by recruiting, and training, our volunteers and plans are in the making to establish aftercare transitional housing in our area. We are in need of funding so please keep us in your daily prayers. If its Gods will then it will be done in His perfect timing.
A man in Christ is a new creation, Paul said. Christ has the POWER to change and transform lives and we have witnessed former prisoners living transformed lives in the community. To God be the Glory!
