What the Celebrate Recovery Jail Ministry Means to Me.

A very important part of my healing is giving away what the Lord has given to me and allowing Him to use my pains for His glory,

As well as planting the seeds of healing in the girls that I teach at ICC I also Share the Celebrate Recovery Program, I share my experiences, both good and bad, and I mostly Love to share what the Lord has done in my life and what a blessing it has been for me..

My favorite jail story has developed over time and im not sure that i even have a favorite because there are so many.

When I first started going to teach at ICC one of the female guards had apparently made quite a bad impression on a lot of the girls. They would tell me she was cold, mean, and hard and after years of working in this type of environment, you could almost understand why.

But we came to bring Christ and His love and we would talk with this female guard as well. After several conversations this guard also became interested in our program and the power behind it.

Then one night as we entered the dorm and were chatting, this guard was there and the girls were saying how "She was now thier favorite, she's nice and cares about us". The guard said "Yes, I do care about you and I pray for you every day and I hope you girls pray for me too".

Not only is this program helping the incarcerated girls but the ones that are free as well...AND even the guards! Woohooo. God is SOOOOO Amazing!
